Director Education WP
The Director of Education oversees all teaching and learning activities at Capital Hospice. Working collaboratively across all departments, the Director of Education aligns all learning programs to the goal of providing world class care, balancing the needs of our internal and external learners.

Research Manager – Falls Church, VA WP
Reports to EVP Quality and Access and Research Director
Responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of clinical trials and health services research within the Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CORE).
Supervises the planning and coordination of the Clinical Research Coordinator and their assigned studies.
Carries out marketing activities to promote site and recruit appropriate clinical trials.
With Center Director, negotiates Clinical Trial Agreements and Budgets with Sponsors and/or CRO’s.
Determines objectives and rationale of all clinical trials.
Understands Inclusion/Exclusion criteria of all clinical trials as they relate to study objectives, patient safety and retention of patients for evaluable data.
Supervises and coordinates all aspects of research clinical trials per study protocol, including:
Attendance at Investigator Meetings as needed
Working with Capital Hospice staff to recruit and enroll appropriate patients in assigned clinical trials within determined time frame
Management of clients within protocol parameters to ensure client safety and keep protocol violations to a minimum
Retention of clients in studies by managing physical, psychological and social agendas
Completion of Source Documentation and Case Report Forms in an efficient and timely manner
Conducts on-site meetings and monitor visits as required by sponsors for assigned protocols
Completion and maintenance of site regulatory documents per FDA, IRB, Sponsor/CRO requirements
Supervises and coordinates all aspects of non-clinical trials research per study protocol
Requirements:
BSN or graduate degree in health related field preferred. Minimum 2 years experience in the conduct of clinical trials. Experience in health services research strongly preferred
Leadership ability to execute an effective, supportive and sensitive response to needs of clinical trial subjects and to staff members.
Performs detailed work with accuracy
Exhibits excellent rapport with others; functions well as a team member
Works independently with a minimum of supervision
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Computer skills with basic MS Office products.
(1) Full time- Falls Church, VA
RN Clinical Supervisor WP
Functions as the Clinical Supervisor for defined interdisciplinary team. Position is responsible for the day to day triage of the team activities of accepting referrals, assuring timely admissions, assigning patients to the appropriate team members and monitoring patient care as ordered on the interdisciplinary plan of care. Conducts the IDT meetings and supervises and supports clinical staff through evaluation and field supervisory visits. Assures ongoing development of the teams’ clinical skills.
