2005 Josefina Magno Conference Highlights

The 7th Josefina Magno Conference, held November of 2005 was a HUGE success, bringing together world-renowned expert clinicians, educators and researchers to discuss the state of the art and science of caring for persons with life-limiting illness. Some highlights can be viewed BELOW.

Text Box:      Edmund Pellegrino, MD, Professor Emeritus of Medicine & Medical Ethics, Center for Clinical Biothics, Georgetown University Medical Center closed the 2005 conference with his thoughts on personal integrity and clinical decisions.  Text Box:      Cynda Rushton, DNSc, RN, FAAN, Assistant Professor of Nursing & Faculty, Bioethics Institute, Johns Hopkins University closed the “Evidence-Based Palliative Care” pre-conference with comments focused on the professionalism of the caregiver when caring for someone who doesn’t remember or recognize you.
