Beyond our home-based expert hospice and palliative care, your tax-deductible gifts make possible special services and programs that mean the most to our patients, families and the community we serve. These include:
After Hours Care, where our hospice nurses respond to urgent "after hours" calls from caregivers and families in need of assistance,
Extensive bereavement support, including individual and family counseling, drop-in groups, and community grief and loss programs, such as the Point of Hope camp for chidren,
Outreach and education on end of life issues through Speakers Bureau and staff workshops and trainings,
Professional education and research to improve hospice and palliative care, including one of only three accredited community-based hospice fellowships in palliative medicine; and,
Charity care, which provides nearly $1 million in services to patients and their families without insurance through the Patient Care Fund.
