3rd Annual Women's Charity Golf Event

The 2007 Booz Allen Hamilton team

                         gets ready to tee up.

Support our Point of Hope Grief Camp for    Children, Teens and Adults, and play (or learn) golf at the same time! Call 703.531.6207 to become part of the Event Committee or be a named sponsor. We start work today!

September 22, 2008 - Country Club of Fairfax

Proceeds from the Womens Charity Golf event will provide the 2008 Camp with such enhancements as: the ability to eliminate the wait list for those wishing to attend, ramp up art, music and animal therapy, and add popular activities such as a hayride. Point of Hope Camp, in its 12th year, has been a haven for children and teens who have lost a loved one and suffered from this loss as only a child can. This year's camp will provide a gathering of adults too who have a loss and need support. Compassion, friendship and the road to healing are the Camp's goals. For more information about the Camp, click here.

Over 80 business women from 20 companies and community leaders from throughout the area participated in 2007.  As more and more women than ever are heading out to the golf course -- for business, social and other reasons--we can promise every participant a new skill to apply to her success.

Capital Hospice's Women's Charity Golf Event provides a terrific opportunity to play golf at a beautiful country club, network with other like-minded women, have tremendous fun on the course, and help raise funds for Capital Hospice. There will again be a Novice Clinic, for those golfers who are new to the game or who want to sharpen their skills. The Clinic will feature short course, driving range and putting instruction for a minimum of two hours of professional instruction. The day includes a box lunch, reception, dinner, and prizes for every level of play.

2008 Event Co-chairs, from Booz Allen Hamilton, are:

                                    Janet Gagnon

                                              and

                                       Meg Gronvall

For participants who choose to golf or attend the Clinic, the fee includes a networking reception and dinner. For others who might wish just to attend the reception and dinner, tickets will be available.
