Hospice Cup XXVI Sailing Regatta

Saturday, September 8, 2007

Annapolis, Maryland

About the Hospice Cup

Held on the Chesapeake Bay, America’s largest charity regatta is a festive day-long event benefiting Capital Hospice and other hospices in the region.

From the comfort of a fabulous spectator boat, you’ll be wined and dined as you watch more than 100 of the best racers compete for prestigious trophies. After the races, you’ll attend a catered shore party with a live auction and entertainment provided by the Blue Thrill Band.

This race is the local qualifying event for the National Hospice Regatta Championship-the first national championship ever offered in the field of charity regattas.

Would you like to compete in the race?

Call Capital Hospice Special Events at 703.531.1111.

Starting classes include handicap and cruising one-design boats such as PHRF, MORC, J/105, Catalina 27, Cal 25, Triton, and Multihull. There is also a special Hospice Class for sailors who do not usually race.

Would you like to become a sponsor?

The Hospice Cup is sanctioned by the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association (CBYRA) and counts for CBYRA’s season-long High Point competition.
