When you make a Tribute Lights gift in memory of a loved one, Capital Hospice honors that special person at one of its local remembrance events and sends a personalized card to the individual or family who is to be notified of the gift (but not the amount).
Capital Hospice begins its season of Tribute Lights remembrance events each fall. Capital Hospice and friends and families will celebrate and remember the lives of its patients at community events in McLean, Manassas, and Ashburn in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Prince George's County, MD.
Tribute Lights donations to Capital Hospice not only make a memory, your gifts will also help to bring care and comfort to terminally ill patients and emotional support to families in your community.
Friends and family of patients, Capital Hospice supporters or anyone in the metropolitan region are welcome to attend Tribute Lights remembrance events. These events combine music, poetry and inspirational readings with personal testimonies in a spirit of hope and reflection. There is no charge.
