A gift in memory of a loved one -- family, friend, or co-worker -- is a wonderful way to pay tribute and help ensure that the care and comfort that Capital Hospice gives is available to everyone who so desires it.
For each memorial gift or tribute, Capital Hospice sends notification of the gift to the individual that you designate. Please include the name and address of the individual(s) you would like us to notify along with your gift.
Cumulative tribute gifts of $2,500 or more are recognized with a special plaque in the loved one's name on the wall of memory at Capital Hospice's Inpatient Center in Arlington, VA.
Notice of Tribute Gifts
Familes may prefer to ask for memorial gifts through the obituary. The notice in the obituary might read, "In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory to Capital Hospice, Development Office, 6565 Arlington Blvd, Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042."

Tribute Lights gifts and events are a Capital Hospice tradition. These non-denominational services celebrate the lives of our patients and their families through music, poetry, inspirational readings, and personal stories.
Tribute Lights events are year 'round in all Capital Hospice service areas: Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Prince George's County, Maryland.
