There are as many ways to support Capital Hospice's programs as there are needs in our community. That is why we offer our donors a range of programs that they can support -- whether that is respite care at our Inpatient Center to relieve an overwrought caregiver, in-home services for a very sick patient with no health insurance, or assistance for a home health aide with education toward hospice certification. Or you can simply ask that your gift be used wherever the need is greatest. However you chose to support Capital Hospice, our patients and families are grateful.
Capital Hospice does not turn anyone way -- based on the ability to pay
for our care. This Fund pays for end-of-life care and bereavement support
for uninsured or under-insured patients and families. (Fund # 1200)
Capital Hospice's clinical caregivers are specialists and experts.
We have the largest concentration of hospice certified staff in the region
-- thanks to the Caregivers Fund. The Fund promotes education and advanced
training for nurses, home health aides, and other caregivers on the hospice
care team. (Fund # 1150)
