Capital Hospice has the largest percentage of certified palliative care nurses in the metropolitan area. And we are fully committed to their continuing education and professional development.
The Professional Caregivers Fund provides educational and other benefits for these skilled, compassionate professionals: our nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, bereavement counselors, chaplains and other members of the hospice care team.
These benefits include: tuition assistance, paid sabbaticals, financial incentives for exceptional performance, and professional memberships in the Palliative Nurses Association and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization for all team members with a tenure of more than 1 year.
