On any given day, gifts to Capital
Hospice make possible:
- hospice care -- every day -- for more than 580 patients and families
wherever they call home -- assisted living centers, nursing homes, and
their own residences.
- care for more patients with acute symptoms or whose families need respite
care in the Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center in Arlington
- support for adults and children who have experienced loss or trauma
through bereavement counseling and other programs at Capital Hospice Point
of Hope Wellness Center
- further training and accreditation in hospice and palliative medicine
for the area's physicians, nurses, social workers, and home health aides
- end-of-life care available to anyone who seeks our help, regardless
of their ability to pay for our care
